Bio
Yes, I'm an honest-to-goodness Eskimo, clown, street magician, and survivalist.

I'm two quarters Inuit (my mother and father are both half Iñupiaq), a quarter German, 1/8th Japanese and 1/8th Irish. I am a citizen of the Inuit Nation, Canada and North America and have worked in the UK and Mexico. I'm blessed to have good parents who are very supportive of my nomadic lifestyle. It doesn't hurt that they're rich, though they haven't had to support me since graduating High School.

I was classically trained in pantomime and vaudeville performance by Julie H. Buckley (aka Flutter Ficklebottom). I was specifically trained as an Auguste, but still learned the roles of the Whiteface and Character Clowns, as well I learned basic trapeze and tightrope walking. This was later refined while working with the Blue Island Lions Club Bedlamites, where I added basic horse stunts and juggling to my repertoire. I've also studied under Pete Kovacevich (aka Parky The Clown). I learned street magic under the supervision of David Peck.

More recently, I have adopted a more extemporal commedia dell'arte routine, either upbeat or satirical. When I worked in the UK, I was able to work with Dom Joly, who starred in Trigger Happy TV. This allowed me to expand my routine to be more Dadaistic.

I study and train in Muay Thai kickboxing and Kyokushinkai full-contact karate. I am a member of various juggling and unicycle clubs, and have been part of several competitive dog sledding teams. I am an avid backpacker, and survivalist. My folks live near Denali State Park, so I'm well versed in arctic survival. I enjoy skijorning and mushing for fun, and am fond of most sled dogs.

I either do odd jobs, teach survival courses, work as a stagehand and coach for several smaller community theaters, or help out sled teams 3 or 4 months out of the year, and live nomadically for the rest of the year. I've unicycled across the United States and Canada over 5 times. To supplement my nomadic months, during which time I can live comfortably off of little or no money, I perform street magic for spare change. My other surreal street performances are just for my own amusement.
